Still can’t believe Donald Trump won the election. Are you unsure as to how the majority of Americans can vote such a stupid idiot into office? Think the world’s going to come to an end thanks to idiot Trump? Well, not so fast. While the stuff that flies out of his mouth may appear to make him not the sharpest knife in the drawer – he’s definitely not the dumbest president of all-time either. In fact (and I hope you’re sitting down for this), as far as IQ’s go, he’s one of the smartest! But how does president Trump measure up in smarts compared to past presidents, especially that of his arch nemesis’, Barak Obama and Hilary Clinton? Well if you’re as curious as we were to find out just what kind of brain is leading this country, then check out the following list of presidents who had shockingly high, and low, IQ’s.

Donald Trump

I hope you’re sitting down for this, because Donald Trump; aka: the racist, aka: the misogynist, aka: the xenophobe, aka: short-fingered vulgarian, aka: loud-mouthed vulgar yam, aka: President of the United States has an IQ of an unbelievably high 156! That officially classifies him as a genius. Perhaps it’s time we do away with IQ testing, because clearly, even though it’s officially documented – it just can’t be right.

Barack Obama

I hope you’re still sitting down because not only does Donald Trump’s score beat Obama’s – but at an IQ of only 100 – Barak also has the lowest score of any president in the last 100 years! Come to think of it, and considering a Trump win, it’s not as if Obama made the American public any smarter.

Hillary Clinton

So how does Trump measure up against his election rival, the one he refers to as a “nasty woman” in Hilary Clinton? Hilary’s score falls just short of Trump’s at 145. While this still puts her in the upper-echelon of presidential candidates, it’s still not enough to beat Trump.

George W. Bush

George W. The man famous for bringing us to war for no good reason. And perhaps even more famous for his “Bushisms” like ““Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning?”. One can’t help but to wonder, just how stupid was he? Well, at an IQ of 124, he’s officially consider at just slightly above average intelligence.

George Bush Sr.

So is Bush Sr. smarter than his supposedly stupid son? Yes. But only by 6 points. George Bush Sr. has an IQ of 130, to which he used to graduate with from Yale, just after serving in the Navy during world war 2.

Richard Nixon

Nixon served in office from 1969 to 1974, a term that was plagued with controversy over the Watergate Scandal. Then in his second term, he was forced to resign. You’d think this would qualify him as one very stupid president, but with an IQ of 131 – he’s no dummy.

Dwight Eisenhower

One of the more thought to be brighter presidents, Dwight Eisenhower served between 1953 to 1961. In that time he built our Interstate Highway System, along with creating NASA. So he had to be smart, right? Well, no smarter than Nixon at an IQ of only 131.

Grover Cleveland

Grover had a career in law enforcement before becoming president in 1885. He’s the only US president in history to have served two nonconsecutive terms – which is quite the accomplishment as he didn’t have a college education, and an IQ of only 130.

James K. Polk

James Polk may not be that famous amongst US presidents. During his time in office from 1845 to 1849, he did achieve a lot, like; rebuilding the country’s financial system, along with overseeing the Mexican War. It’s believed that he also had an IQ of around 130.

William McKinley

Well it appears that if you want to be president, you need to have an IQ of 130, as yet again, this was the intelligence level of our 25th president, William McKinley. William dropped out of college, but then returned later to get his law degree.

George Washington

Ronald Regan

Regan and Trump have a fair bit in common. Not only are both Republican, but given that he started out as an actor, few believed Regan would make a legitimate president – just like Trump. Unlike Trump however, Ronald’s IQ hovered around that 130 mark set by most presidents. So despite being remembered quite fondly, intellectually, he wasn’t anything that special.

Lyndon B. Johnson

With a degree from Southwest State Texas Teachers College, which led him to become a teacher in a low-income neighborhood – thus causing him to make many reforms to the education system once he became president – Lyndon B. only had an IQ of 127.

Truman never graduated from Spalding Commercial College. He ended up working in a men’s haberdashery store before becoming president of the United State in 1945. His IQ, like Johnson’s, was also 127.
